The CIGN and Dalton GA work teams of 2007
In 2007 we hit the ground running when in February a work team from Dalton Christian Fellowship, GA, under Pastor Craig Cooper arrived and tore-off and replaced a roof on one of our churches which is located in Hato Mayor. A week later a second work team headed by team leader Denny Ferguson from Christian International Global Network ( CIGN ) arrived with workers coming from various Christian International churches to help us finish the renuevation that had been placed in our hands by pastors here in the D R who could no longer lead the origional church. We had found a location that could house the church but the site was terribly run down and needed great repair. Our church family here began to clean up the property but soon found that a great deal of work was needed to make it usable. So, the two work teams arrived in February, one one week, the other the next and began the project. Within a two week time span they transformed the run-down building into a very nice clean new work in the barrio of Hato Mayor.
To God be the Glory! They put on a new roof, repaired walls, knocked down wall to get more needed space, painted, put in parking curbs, broke concret for drainage lines and inspired our people here by their Love, their faithfulness and by their hard work. Our thank you's cannot really express our gratitude for all that these workers sacrfised to come and impart into our lives and this people.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so
also is Christ " 1 Corinthians 12:12

Our team, consisting of six students from Penn State Behrend in Erie Pa, spent a week in the Dominican Republic over spring break 2005. Each of us having our own personality we were all curious to see how God was going to use us as a team working together. After the first day, it was obvious that God was using each of us in a unique way, and as the week progressed we each found our role on the team. We were best able to reach out to the youth and had a ton of fun doing it. Since only one person on our team spoke Spanish, the rest of us got to play charades and try to learn as much as we could in a week. We were treated like family by complete strangers and were deeply touched by the hospitality of the people of Baitoa, especially those in the body of Christ. Throughout the week, God used us to reach out and love the people through prayer, building projects, and evangelistic outreaches. Although the goal of our trip was to show the people the love of Christ, we each felt as if they did more for us than we did for them because we left as changed people. God brought each of us on that trip for a different reason and I can certainly say that His will was accomplished and that He did not leave one heart untouched. God has blessed our group immensely and we have been able to use our experiences in the DR to reach out, in a deeper way, to the students at our campus. Glory to God!

Sword of the Spirit Ministries, Buffalo, NY
The Ministry Team of Sword of the Spirit Ministries was
very excited about the recent opportunity to go and release
the Father’s heart with a prophetic mandate for the people
of Baitoa, to raise up in a new dimension of Kingdom authority
that would tear down strongholds and bring deliverance to His
people.
Our Team visited many homes to minister and impart
revelation that would encourage people on a personal level to
press into their own healing and deliverance, bringing
understanding that the experience of their own liberation
through Christ would fuel a passionate desire to take that new
measure of freedom out to the streets for the greater cause of
seeing their own cities and nation set free.
We also had the opportunity to minister in a conference
setting in which we prayed and released the fire of God and
the joy of the Lord, equipping the people of Baitoa to go
forth with a fresh anointing of apostolic authority to
prophetically declare and call forth the Lord’s awesome plan
and destiny for the people of the Dominican Republic.
For the Sword of the Spirit Team, it has been life changing
to experience the love and embrace of God’s people in Baitoa
and to loose the Lord’s call to arms and see His people rise
up and pursue the advancement and increase of His Kingdom.
